Everchanging
As the title suggests, a current takes it all in its path. Our sight, what we choose to see from all that exists, what we select to pay attention to and to try and make a meaning out of it, all is drifted, carried away. How many times have we not wished for a moment, including its whole experience, to remain stagnant? Not many, I can tell.
But as you see, since everything flows, and water plays a major role here, if water stays still, it becomes nothing more than a clogged, noxious pool of filthy liquid, prone to actually sprawling malaria. And the harshest thing is that, unless you keep track of every tiny little alteration you undergo, you'll be the one to be carried along on a whole torrent of change. Unavoidable, yet still possible to cope with.
Sometimes we don't want change. We don't want to change. We don't want things to change. But we want things that change. We have undergone immense change and now, we just have to live and let change - and don't you worry, all of the rest will flow.
You see, some things are better left untouched.
Stagnant water isn't potable anyway...
